good to see you got this one in early...
Once again the composition is a bit lacking, it just feels neutral and boring. Using the walls and floor to create lines pointing toward the figure is a good technique but the figure is already in the center so it just seems like an overstatement.
It looks like you wanted the conversation to seem at least somewhat enjoyable but I think you should really push this effect through the composition and not just expression or gesture. i.e. a swirling composition that leads from some stuff on the floor through the telephone wire/figure to the climax at the head of the figure which could be located near the top of the compostion(her expression would just be the icing on the cake)
In contrast if you wanted the conversation to seem bad you might push the figure down near the bottom of the image to show some sort of invisible weight bearing down on the girl... make her feel uncomfortable, once again her expression would just make the feeling you get from the abstract composition more specific.
If you want to make a happy picture organize the happy people happily... dont just draw some happy people. yeah?
